Dear friends and fellow producers, After so many years of work, we believe even more that in order to achieve important goals and keep up with changes in the world of extra virgin olive oil, we need great cooperation.
The Terred’Olio Guide, with its Italian and English edition, continues to be of great value and distributed in Italy and abroad in all the educational and promotional activities of the Academy. So here it is that this year we are going to select the best oils of the new olive campaign in a whole different way, within the Maestrod’olio Competition!
The extra virgin olive oil kermesse, which crosses the 10-year milestone, is back again this year under the Portico Pretorio in Piazza San Michele in Lucca. We look forward to seeing you there with our selection of excellent oils from all over Italy.
Trips to raise awareness of extra virgin olive oil continue…
The Maestrod’olio team traveled to the Netherlands to the prestigious NHL Stenden University. This university also has branches in South Africa, Indonesia and Thailand and is an institute of excellence, like the extra virgin oils that we made taste and learn about by making them understand how the producers’ efforts and sacrifices will then be repaid in the final product. It was three intense days full of emotions to see the students recognize flavors and aromas, knowing that these experiences can leave a mark within them. A collaboration that with the Dutch university that is only in its infancy, ready to consolidate over time to ensure that knowledge and knowledge about oil is exported more and more.
Maestrod’olio Cup all’Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort
To open the season of summer events, on Saturday, June 10, the Maestrod’olio team will arrive at the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort with the Maestrod’olio Cup. A golf competition will be held and a few corners will be set up where you can participate in a small oil tasting both along the course and during the awards ceremony, where Maestrod’olio will be the one to present the prizes to the winners. For the oils that will be tasted, a special oil card will be made with a selection of the best extra virgin oils in Italy.

A fantastic experience! The Hotel de la Poste in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a historic structure in Piazza Roma and the true heart of the Dolomites, hosted us for the winter season in which Maestrod’olio was able to create the Carta dell’Olio dedicated ad hoc to the clients of the hotel restaurant. During the initiative hundreds of customers accepted the proposal to taste free samples of extra virgin olive oil in combination with the dishes offered by the restaurant. We added value to a location that needed no presentation, managing to promote dozens of products from the best Italian artisanal extra virgin olive oil companies.
