Maestrod’olio Competition

Dear friends and fellow producers, After so many years of work, we believe even more that in order to achieve important goals and keep up with changes in the world of extra virgin olive oil, we need great cooperation.

The Terred’Olio Guide, with its Italian and English edition, continues to be of great value and distributed in Italy and abroad in all the educational and promotional activities of the Academy. Also this year we are going to select the best oils of the new olive campaign through the Maestrod’olio Competition!

  • each producer may send up to no. 3 oil samples that will be tasted and may be included in the Maestrod’olio Selection.
  • The most deserving and exciting oils will be able to aspire to the Crown and the Master of Oil Gem, just like these past years.
  • Each oil will be tasted and narrated.
  • each oil that arrives at the Academy, will receive a digital certificate with the tasting in Italian, alongside their photo.

  Please send us as soon as possible, and by February 28, 2025, No. 3 bottles of 500 ml oil for each label, which will be used for tasting for the purposes of selection in the competition and for the final tastings for the Maestrod’olio Crown and Gem. The remaining bottles will be used throughout the year by the Maestrod’olio Academy to promote your companies throughout Italy and abroad. Despite the price increases that continue to spread, I have decided to leave the €200 (+VAT) fee unchanged again this year in order to submit up to three oil samples.
